When does the app open?
Libras is opening in early access. People on the list receive a link to create their account, then every profile is reviewed by hand.
Why verify my identity?
Because ex-Muslims are sometimes threatened. Today, every profile is reviewed by hand by the team; ID verification is coming soon. Your real name is never asked for or shown: others only see your nickname.
Who can see my real identity?
For now, Libras asks for neither your real name nor an ID document. Your email is only visible to the review team, never to other members.
Can my family find me?
Your photo is only visible after a match, only your city is shown, and you can block anyone. Hiding from phone numbers and countries is coming soon.
What if someone takes my phone?
Remember to log out after use (Profile › Log out). Passcode lock and calculator mode are coming soon.
Do I need the App Store?
No. Libras is a web app: you open it in your browser and add it to your home screen. No trace in your app store purchase history.
Is it free?
Yes: sign-up, matches, messages and all safety features are free. Libras Plus and Gold add comfort: unlimited likes, rewind, advanced filters, see who liked you.
Are people who aren't ex-Muslims welcome?
Yes, as non-believing allies, and it's shown on their profile. Anyone can choose to meet only ex-Muslims.
